As the Chief Financial Officer for Emissions Monitoring Service, Inc., Israel strives to provide value to every client through financial governance strategies, based in leadership and responsible resource management.

Israel’s passion for continuous process improvement has enabled him to drive a successful career in both the private and non-profit sectors. He has developed and implemented strategies for values-based decision making that have resulted in an improved EMSI customer experience. Israel’s commitment to efficiency and progress, defines a team culture of high-responsiveness and customizable solutions for the financial matters at EMSI. Israel values long-term vendor relationships as one way of providing exceptional customer service in a timely and economical manner.

While at EMSI, Israel has had many successes, the most exciting is his role in negotiating and finalizing the contract for a Joint Venture in Shanghai, China. This partnership will allow EMSI to be a leader in the very fledgling Chinese emissions monitoring market; supporting environmental compliance on a global level.

Israel is an active member of Association for Corporate Growth Houston and is currently serving on the Steering Committee for the CFO Summit event held annually. He is often called upon to serve as a contributor to discuss technology in the corporate finance function.

Israel graduated with High Honors from Portland State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He is part of the 2019 graduating class of the Mccombs School of Business at University of Texas at Austin. Israel resides in the Houston area with his family. Contact Israel Askew.
